As Marsha and I sit here at the CIMIV center, we can help but shake our heads at all of the new things that are happening in our lives.  We have a new daughter-in-law, and another daughter-in-law AND son-in-law on the way before the calendar travels a full year.  In April we also welcomed our first grandson to the world.  Our hearts could not be fuller.  Add that to our new role as Executive Directors of VivaKids and we are beyond excited and sometimes overwhelmed by this new chapter in our lives.

And as you will soon see, there are many new things coming here at VivaKids.  You are reading this on our new website.  We hope you like it!  You may have also had the opportunity to check out the new Sponsor portal powered by REACH, which promises to significantly and positively elevate your Sponsor experience.  We have new brochures, new business cards, new marketing materials, new VivaKids swag, and much, much more.  Its an exciting time to be involved with VivaKids!

But what isn’t new is the need for your support of these awesome children and the communities they come from.  We are humbled by all that God is doing in the Dominican Republic through the CIMIV and Pan y Vida centers.  And you are making it possible by providing your prayers, love and financial support.  And for that we are very grateful.

I hope to see many of you register and join us for the VivaVacation (with a Purpose) coming this October.  It promises to be a great trip and an opportunity for you to watch these centers work to break the cycle of poverty prevalent in their communities.
