Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, we will all be turning our attention toward the wonderful celebration of Christmas! No doubt, this means decorating, shopping, ugly sweater parties, cookie baking and making lasting memories with loved ones. Most importantly, it means commemorating the most awesome gift ever given….the gift of Jesus Christ. The Bible says in John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave. his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” And that same God that made this tremendous sacrifice for us, did it for the entire world including the precious children in the Dominican Republic that you support every month.
Much like the rest of the year, Christmas doesn’t always equal joy for the kids of the DR.
